STATE OF THE ART CASA SEMEN COLLECTING, EVALUATING, FREEZING AND STORING
Our CASA computer software system is human grade technology, used in Universities, that allows us to evaluate canine semen and provides a digital report of all findings. It allows the dog owner to see exactly the number and quality of cells the dog is producing while calculating the number of breedings collected for storage.
NO GUESSING. NO 'EYEBALLING' THE COUNTS. NO SURPRISES LATER. NO OVERBILLING.
This evaluation can be a very useful tool for stud dog owners when shipping semen to reassure bitch owners of what they are buying and receiving. And, if evaluation numbers are not ideal, these findings can be shared with your veterinary practitioner to find ways to boost the reproductive health of your dog to ensure successful future breedings.
We freeze in straws. It has been the preferred method world-wide for many years and is the most accurate in identifying once frozen. Each straw is individually labeled for identification so your dog is securely stored.
Our Dewar tanks and smaller shipping tanks are brand new, serviced regularly and checked every other day for correct temperatures. Semen is stored in these tanks at -320 F in liquid nitrogen. All collections are stored in Thomasville, Georgia.
We collect and ship fresh, chilled semen in boxes designed specifically for safe, reliable and secure shipping. The box is compartmentalized so that semen does not accidentally freeze if it touches the cold packs.
