ABOUT RHR...
McKenna Vance; Owner/Operator
Even as a young girl, McKenna had a love for dogs and dog shows...she began showing dogs after watching her older brother learn how to show his Wheaten Terrier, and decided she wanted to join him. She was the proud owner of her first Kerry Blue Terrier at the tender age of seven years old and began showing in conformation long before eligible for junior handling. She has finished several dogs of her own and many for friends and family and always knew that dogs would play a part in her life forever. Her home now includes a Kerry Blue Terrier and Sealyham Terrier! She has enjoyed training for Barn Hunt, Obedience, Rally, Agility, Conformation, and Therapy Dog International and her dogs are certified Hospice therapy dogs. McKenna is a licensed AKC Junior Handling Judge, Vice President of the Kerry Blue Terrier Club of Central Florida, member of the Sealyham Terrier Club and a mentor to many.
As a graduate from the University of Georgia with a degree in Biology and many years working at her local Vet clinic, she decided to work in reproduction and find a way to combine her love for dog shows with her career choice. She worked for a nationally licensed canine semen bank and this opportunity clarified her decision that this was the career path for her. McKenna is a student member of the Society for Theriogenology, an NGA licensed semen collector and inseminator and continues to educate herself with all things animal reproductive.
